Rumor: Leica considering rebranding Canon DSLRs (updated)

Update: Imaging Insider received an e-mail on Monday, August 18, 2008 from someone that apparently works for Leica confirming this rumor. Here is the updated link.
I would say the chance of this to happened is 1%, but it is still a rumor:
"There´s a hint going around that Leica is considering rebranding Canon DSLRs"

    No thanks. There is reason a Canon is not a Leica.
