That body is different also from the “real” M8. Look at the shutterspeed dial. On this, there seem to be 2 red markings. Also the covering on the body is different, this one looks like the good old M6.
Is this the new version? M8.2 or M9 in disguise?

That f/3.8 lens is more likely the rumored 18mm lens.

The 24mm lens shown above cannot be a Summilux. It’s only f/3.8, not f/1.4 that is required for the title of Summilux. Probably a Summarit or Elmarit.

After the Noctilux lens rumor, I went back to my “rumors archive” and came across this post in dpreview (dated July 17, 2008):”The M9 will come next year with FF chip. Photokina will bring a Noctilux 0.95 and a compact Leica “Allah” CM/Cl. They also plan to ride the M8 $1750 upgrade train until doomsday because it’s money in their bank ….!”It all makes sense so far. This is what we have so far:Noctilux 0.95 plus 3 additional lensesLeica M8.2 – only an upgrade to M8 (not FF)M9 will be full frame, but it will not be release during Photokina …
