If you check some magazine websites such as Reponses Photo in France, Photonews in Germany or British Journal of Photography in the UK, you should find all about the big news at midnight (Europe time).
Can you please give more details – I do not have access to European magazines.
Is there going to be another announcement other than “The Future of Memories” as indicated in the title of this thread “Wednesday at 10:30 am”?
Leica forum’s web site has been down for the bigger part of the day – cannot get their updates on the event.
It’s actually going to be on Tuesday, Just wondering if you have a Leica rep in your area . Mine just won’t shut up, Yes it’s coming R10 it will compatible with old and new r series lenses you heard it hear first

No, it is not going to be the R10 – the sources say something bigger!
R10 will be here, but ‘maybe’ not until early-ish ’09 – or so the little ‘birdy’ says. I’m guessing what we will see is the rumored ‘S2′ which may not be seen as a ‘consumer’ but more of a strictly pro set-up. But really, only a select few know for sure. Dah,,,,
