I watched the movie Coraline yesterday (not in 3D unfortunately) and I think it was great. I also did notice the camera - a Leica M3?. Do you think Leica paid for this product placement?

    Haha, I noticed that during the movie – although I wasn’t sure which model it was. I bet it was used because it has a timeless look, rather than advertising.

    It was clearly meant to be a late M3—it had the raised reliefs around the VF/RF windows, self-timer & preview levers, and the M3-style wind lever.
