Just another Leica M9 rumor

I keep receiving bits and pieces of information about the M9 - here is the latest one:

"It will be 18 MP, FF, sensor made by Kodak, software made by PhaseOne.
Overpriced as all things made by Leica."

    “overpriced” rings like a comment from a competitor :) Leica products are expensive for sure, compared to other similar products.
    But how much is “overpriced” for a 18Mp FF rangefinder without any competitor?

    Canon’s 1Ds were overpriced (and still are) because there wasnt any similar product in the competition. Nowadays, Nikon’s D3X is overpriced.

    It is called “premium”, and if you don’t like it, don’t buy.

    In Switzerland there is already the price of M9: 400 fr more than 8.2. Available in late 2009. I have already driven.
