Leica and Micro Four Thirds format lenses

From the translation of the Q&A session with Stefan Daniel during the Hessenpark meeting:

  • Leica is not going to offer MFT cameras
  • Leica may offer MFT lenses

Few days ago 43rumors got multiple tips that Leica (in agreement with Panasonic) will develop special Micro Four Thirds lenses. Expected release date: between November 2009 and March 2010.

    I guess Leica wants to concentrate less on future technolgy and more on overpriced collectibe and fun color collections.
