Leica at Bievres used camera fair (France)

Bievres used camera fair happens every first week of June (this year it was postponed to the second week because of the European elections). Bievres is located south west of Paris near Versailles. All kind of photographic equipment can be found at this fair: cameras, darkroom equipments, films, studio gears, pictures and books, other gadgets and even watches. Of course Leica is very well represented. All kinds of accessories could be found and people are coming from all over the world (see flickr photo description for more details):

Here is another link with more info on this event. Bievres has also a great photographic museum.

Thanks to Xavier Lhospice for the report & pictures.

Went to Bievres this year, to visit the camera fair.

pro : you can see and often touch lots of old cameras. Film only.

    conS :
    - shops are speculating on old cameras, I am quite sure they buy on eBay, and then try to resell at crazy prices (like 100euro for a defective Pentax 6×7 (without prism), 800eur for a rusty 500c hasselblad body). They don’t even pretend to offer calibrated-lubricated-adjusted products. I have seen very few sales happen, and at the end of the week-end, you could hear the sellers grumbling. Good for them.

    - I don’t know who sent you this news tip, but I think I havent seen a single Leica, and I have only seen a few very slow-aperture lenses for M-mount.
