One has to invest at least 50000 € /USD for a body and some lenses - and for what? For publishing nice photos in a magazine, a Nikon D 200 or Canon EOS 450 is good enough - this is financial overkill for a little bit better pictures. My first reaction was to go out of the Leica news forum. A photographer who has to live from his work - I fortunately do not have to do so - has to sell many, many pictures...

I think the Leica people have lost any sense of realism publishing these prices in these times. Luxury life, what is it? Ofcourse, we all know traditional meaning - rich persons waste a lot of money to live in expensive and exclusive style, expensive clothes, jewelry, food, cars, trips, yachts and etc.
So if you want to live such life, it means at least you must be on of the richest.
How do you think, is it still possible for usual people to have such way of life, and what is hedonism life for you?

Hi, everybody at leicarumors.com.
