   if you want to know what the m9 looks like, just google m8 and imagine the 8 to be a 9. easy

   I’m expecting the Leica logo to be Black as on the M8,2, and hopefully the M9 logo will also be black, so that people don’t have to use black tape…

   Hmm, could well be a fake. The noise around the M9 looks odd. Also, the manual for the M8 (which has the red not black dot) states that the ‘care instructions’ start on page 125 (English manual). The same as the orange label states. Look in the index, the manual is here (download)…

   I doubt the M9 manual would have the same page number as the M8 but you never know.

   good, you were alert today.

   i had told you yesterday, that there will be a bomb dropped in the morning.

   we will get the official price out – at least the YEN one (will try to get the US$ too) much before wednesday. keep checking – it won’t be divulged in the same website – next time , on another website.

    I will likely be purchasing the M9, but I’m not entertained by photos such as this. Is such an image supposed to excite the viewer? The M line has never changed much in appearance, so why would anyone expect the M9 to be strikingly different from the M8? It’s complicated and sophisticated “gadget”, but beyond that it’s only value lies in the utility to one who creates photographic art. You don’t see painters drooling over the new canvas or tube of paint that they’re buying. If we’re going to view images of this thing, let’s see the genuine article.

    I agree Michael. I was never expecting the M9 to be drastically different. I just hope Leica gets the “M9.1″ right from the start this time.
