Is such an image supposed to excite the viewer? The M line has never changed much in appearance, so why would anyone expect the M9 to be strikingly different from the M8? It's complicated and sophisticated "gadget", but beyond that it's only value lies in the utility to one who creates photographic art. You don't see painters drooling over the new canvas or tube of paint that they're buying. If we're going to view images of this thing, let's see the genuine article.
