The Canon S90 that just came out already beats the pants off the D-Lux 4 and Panasonic LX3, with a big sensor and bright lens in a smaller case to boot. Plus, it doesn't need a rubber lens cap.Oh and it's about half the price. Kind of obsolete already if you ask me. Alex does a Knock Down Drag Out job of detailing every function of the Leica D-Lux 4. Those that have that 'dead stare,' What is that? Well Alex has a detailed Answer! Those that wondered at first look at the "little string" like thing coiled up, well Alex resolves any confusion. It's your lens cap keeper! And as simple as that, he doesn't hesitate to advise how and where to put the battery or memory card. Simple for some of us but for those that haven't "Played Cameras" before, it just drops the Stress Level and Boosts the Confidence. If you don't want to Grease Up the Black Leica Instruction manual, toss it back in the box and get a copy of Alex's Book! He might Autograph it if you ask...
