Leica D-Lux 4 firmware update

A l-camera-forum member posted a rumored lists of fixes for the the upcoming D-Lux 4 firmware update. The list is almost identical to the Panasonic LX3 firmware update v2.0 which was suspended shortly after it was released because of " the reliability of the firmware". The DL4 firmware update was excepted in late October - maybe it will show up tomorrow on Leica's website with the new Leica M7 Hermes Limited Edition (web masters like to do multiple changes in one shot instead of continuously updating a website - it is less risky).

    2 Pm. More typical silence from Leica. Perhaps I’m just impatient. An update would be a ggod thing. Would be nice if they could implement some of the Softwsre from the S2 like image Processing and other goodies developed by Leica
    : )

    I am on the edge of my seat waiting for this update. I really want the lens resume feature the LX3 users are enjoying.

    Leica D-LUX4 is going up on the price January first,there will be no more d-lux4 delivery this year to any Leica dealers,new MSRP $880.00 ,MSP $799.00
