Oh I really would love that book . The Leica Manual is a tad vague in many places and really not nearly comprehensive enough.

Every good camera should have a dedicated manual, and the D-Lux 4 is a muchly excellent camera. The Leica manual lacks better explanation quite often, and this book should have been in the box with the camera, just to make the deal great. Probably the only Leica that I shall ever own due to prohibitive Leica prices, this book would make my D Lux 4 complete. And thankyou for the chance to compete.

I bought the Dlux-4 on a friend’s advice, and I fell in love with it (the camera, not the friend!). Since then, I carry it with me everywhere. I’m not a great photographer, but I just love my camera, it’s like, with my mp3 player my perfect companion. This would could certainly teach me a few things.

    I bought a D-lux number 4,
It was black and cute and pretty small.
    The pictures taken were sublime,
The f2 lens it blew my mind.
For clumsy digits, buttons aren’t too small.
Oh D-lux 4 you are my all.

So let me tell you one and all,
    With D lux 4 you’ll have a ball.
    Take candid street pictures noisily,
Or macro shoot the face of a bee.
But alas I’m not the greatest shooter of them all,
    So I’d really love…
The photographers guide to the D lux 4.
