The company hasn't been able to deliver these products on time. Leica no longer produces anything special at a reasonable price. The rich old men who used to purchase Leica equipment are dying. Leica camera are now offering solutions which are laughably old-fashioned - and trying to fob off customers by suggesting some kind of purism ! Oh!, No HD Video for us ( You ) The truth is Leica are no longer able to compete in the wider marketplace. I agree that it (hopefully) means they are going to do some more tweaking before final release. I read a review on another very well known photo forum and the response from Leica lovers was bleak to say the least. I want an outstanding Leica point and shoot and am ready to spend the money.
