    Yeah packaging right thats what you pay for!!!!no HD cable ?????no Video!!!!!It s makin me laugh twice the price of a regular compact they have a very very nice box yeah that s for sure!!

    You’re right, it doesn’t have any of the things you mentioned. Privilege is for a Leica at a SFF and with a excellent sensor and lens. While there are many cameras with exactly what you wanted in specification, many of which does not even come close to the quality of IQ the X1 can deliver.

    Package is appropriate for an item of luxury jewelery… Having used an X1 already I can only concur with dpreview regarding its significant “cons”… A $400 camera with a $1000 lens attached shipping in a $600 box. Oh yeah what a deal…

    I once got a box with a drawer for two pieces of curry buns in Tokyo (Fiorentina Pastry Boutique at Grand Hyatt Tokyo). I guess the Germans have finally caught in their packaging design. :)
