Leica may have a new products announcement on February 19th, 2010 (right before PMA). Expected are a new Leica C-Lux 4, a new Leica M 35mm Summilux lens and maybe more. Leica will not attend PMA this year.

Leica AG is hiring! According to the local newspaper Wetzlarer Neuen Zeitung Leica is looking to hire new employees due to the high demand for their new products. The new positions are:

According to this article Quanta (website) is currently partnering with Leica on lenses:

“Lam revealed that the company is developing of a cloud-based digital camera that has strong portability and a selling price of less than US$200 and believes the device will create a threat for existing digital camera players such as Canon and Nikon.”
