- Leica SIS in Palm Beach has some B-stock Leicas for sale. My understanding is that B-stock items are refurbished by Leica and are sold with full 1 year warranty. The price is generally 10% off the MSRP:
Leica 21mm 1.4: $5890
Leica 28mm f/2.8: $1795
Leica 75mm f/2.0 $3095
Leica M9: $6295
Leica X1: $1795

- Various Sony NEX E-mout to Leica M adapters are already available on eBay. Don't like to shop on eBay - Cameraquest also has the Voigtlander Nex Lens adapters in stock.
- PDNPulse has an article about the Chineses website www.leica.org.cn that is allegedly publishing work of photographers without their knowledge or permission. Leica representative confirmed that the site is not associated with Leica Camera AG. Some of the published photos are from Phillip Toledano, Steve McCurry, Marcus Bleasdale, Annie Marie Musselman, Robbie Cooper, Kosuke Okahara, Dominic Nahr and Michal Chelbin. The site is pushing also their own iPhone app that contains copyrighted images. An Austrian store and WestLicht Auction are listed as sponsors of the site.
- Rumors started floating about a Leica X1 firmware update that will bring improved auto focus speed.
- New 35 Summilux lens: B&H will soon start taking pre-orders and Amazon product listing says "usually ships within 1 to 4 weeks".
- Lomography sells Russian Leica copies.
- Half frame Leica cameras are very rare. Here is a Leica M4-P that currently selles for $22.995. More info on half frame Leicas is available here.

I think you mean 10% OFF MSRP, not 10% OF MSRP for the Leica B-stock items.
yep, corrected it – thanks
Wow, that’s unusual – the Chinese copying or printing others works without permission – don’t mean to be bashing here, but if they copied a BMW 7 series and tried to sell them in Europe – they folded up like paper when they were crash-tested – and were immediately kicked out of Europe….
Wait til’ they start copying Leica designs and start selling them – yes, the Russians did it to – but the Chinese have a HUGE home market……they are a loose-canon in their own borders……
Seems to be a photography magazine site that talks about the recent works of major artists and prize winners from competitions rather than publishing the photos as their own work.
I don’t know what is the copyright law regarding the use of artworks when magazines or newspapers are reporting on the artworks.
