In the interview with stefan daniels, why didn’t they talk about the rumor of a different firmware, if it’s different or not, like that, we would be sure and it would cut off all of the rumors about this.

I understood that the LX5 and the D-LUX 5 are exactly sthe ame cameras and from what I’ve heard and understood is that the “only” differences between the LX5 and D-LUX 5 is the software which comes with is, lightroom for one and silkypix for the other one, and the design, but is that really all ??

    Thanks

As for the infamous, mythical R solution – from a weekend meeting with some Leica management, it is not dead – but they have been overwhelmed by M9 and resultant new M lens demand – and they will not release information until a product is near ready for production. Or something to that effect.

So eventually, but no DSLR type solution, which they have said in the past already.

Has anyone heard whether or not the M9 Titanium carrying shoulder strap will be available for sale independently from the camera kit? I think that’s a pretty sweet design. Or has anyone seen anything similar on the market from another designer? Thanks.
