    I have two thoughts:

    1) Well, Giuliani must have REALLY cleaned up New York, and perhaps other cities, too, through his consulting business. Used to be that photographers de-leica-fied their cameras. ;-)

    2) Wait, couldn’t you send in a nice Panasonic to Leica, and they’ll do that for you for a mere $300?

I’m not sure which is my “real” reaction.

first, I do not like your name – there are plenty of websites where you can use this name, LR is not one of them (consider this as a warning)
second, this was posted on cnet – one of the biggest tech site in the world, just curious if you told them what you think

first, I don’t know why you don’t like yourmom.. I’m sure I like mine.. :-)

second, this is NOT cnet now is it..? they could get away with posting that since they cover a whole slew of electronic gadgets.. BUT posting it here JUST because you see a Leica logo DOESN’T qualify it as a Leica rumor.. maybe you forgot what you adamantly insist this site is about — ‘Leica news before it happens’.. news flash this is NOT Leica and oh guess what, it ALREADY happened..!

but hey, it’s YOUR site, and you can post whatever you want..
    btw, yourmom says Happy Holidays..

This is no longer only a Leica rumors site, I had that discussion several times in the past. Unfortunately, I started with this domain name not realizing that this will become a popular Leica site even without the rumors part and yes, I do cover everything that has a red dot on it. Changing to a new domain name is still an option.
Anyway, Happy Holidays to you and your mom too! :)

fun, but why do that when you can just buy a second-hand Kiev rangefinder for $70 – the early ones are basically Contaxs. the iia and iiis are Contaxs with better shutter strips and many of the russian lenses are Zeiss copies with coatings.
