Leica M9-P starts shipping, gets unboxed

Disappointing. $8k camera and so much cardboard. I would have expected velvet cloth and cherry wood case.

…and no-one ever asked if the girl was going to go on with unwrapping herself after stripping the camera body of its packing? Oh well!
…apart from joking: This camera looks absolutely great in its understated, stealth-like discreteness, and I personally think the packing is very, very fine and suitable (and not as wasteful as velvet cloths and cherry wood cases). I am paying the 8k for the product (9Second) itself, and not for the packing
