    So they’re charging $581 dollars over the Panasonic and Photoshop Elements? That’s wayyyy more than the markup on the LX-5 and Lightroom. After you combine the prices of both those two items you got only a $40 dollar markup, this is just obnoxious though!

    So what makes this different than the Panasonic? Is it more than just the name on the body? If not that’s a pretty ridiculous markup.

    i guess leica fans will have now lots of photoshop element copies…
    maybe also they can bundle some antivirus? you know to leser the pain of overpaid junk

    It is fascinating that Leica does not seem to recognize the value of the M mount, especially for enthusiasts who would like to mount their lenses on a simple Leica digital camera.

      I think they do recognize the value of the M mount! They recognize it so much that they do everthing they can to protect the sales of M-class cameras…
