Leica M digital rangefinder designed by Jonathan Ive will be auctioned for charity on November 23

During the Leica M announcement last year, Andreas Kaufmann unofficially revealed that “a very special limited edition version of the camera” designed by Jonathan Ive will be coming in 2013. We now have some addition information – the camera will be sold at a (RED) Sotheby’s charity auction on November 23:

“Leading the auction are the two items designed in their entirety by Jony and Marc – a unique Leica Digital Rangefinder Camera, which is, in and of itself, a feat of extraordinary engineering…”
