To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Leica I, Leica Camera released version 1.4 of the LUX app with a new simulation of the Leica I Model A camera:

• THE ICONIC 1925 LEICA LOOK: Discover the Leica I Model A Look, inspired by the iconic 1925 Leica camera, complete with rich grain, subtle contrast, and the distinctive character of early 35mm photography.
• CUSTOMIZABLE LEICA FRAMES: Frame your story with 4 new customizable Leica frames, designed to share meaningful moments and reveal the metadata and artistry behind every shot.

The new simulation is available only to paying app users.
