Where to buy used Leica M mount lenses?

Those are the places I check when I am looking for used M mount lenses:

Refurbished Zeiss ZM lenses at B&H.

Used Leica M lenses at B&H.

Used M mount lenses at Adorama.

Used Leica lenses at Dale Photo & Digital.

Not many people know that, but Amazon has many listings for used M lenses as well.

KEH also offers a selection of used Leica M lenses.

PopFlash Photo always has a good selection of used Leica glass.

Classicconnection.com currently has 29 used Leica M lenses.

Collectiblecameras.com has a wide selections of used Leica products.

Photovillage.com - there is no dedicated used section, you will have to go through all Leica listings to see the used products.

Acephoto.net currently has only few used Leica M lenses.

Check also Shopgoodwill.com - you may get lucky.

And of course there is eBay.

Various Sony NEX E-mout to Leica M adapters are already available on eBay. Don't like to shop on eBay - Cameraquest also has the Voigtlander Nex Lens adapters in stock.

PDNPulse has an article about the Chineses website www.leica.org.cn that is allegedly publishing work of photographers without their knowledge or permission. Leica representative confirmed that the site is not associated with Leica Camera AG. Some of the published photos are from Phillip Toledano, Steve McCurry, Marcus Bleasdale, Annie Marie Musselman, Robbie Cooper, Kosuke Okahara, Dominic Nahr and Michal Chelbin. The site is pushing also their own iPhone app that contains copyrighted images. An Austrian store and WestLicht Auction are listed as sponsors of the site.

Rumors started floating about a Leica X1 firmware update that will bring improved auto focus speed.

New 35 Summilux lens: B&H will soon start taking pre-orders and Amazon product listing says "usually ships within 1 to 4 weeks".

Interesting: somebody tried to reproduce on of the famous Cartier Bresson's photographs.

Lomography sells Russian Leica copies.

Update: this eBay listing may be a scam - the picture is the same as the Leica in the auction in Vienna (thanks for the tip Oliver).

Few months ago, at WestLicht Photographica Auction in Vienna, a Leica M4 Olive (Bundeswehr edition) camera sold for EUR 87,600 (USD 124,000).

Today, a similar camera just sold on eBay for USD20,0000. Somebody got a good deal

It seems that this Leica collection is still not soldÂ for USD 35,000 (was already listed on eBay few months ago):

Leica Camera Inc. is offering customers who purchase selected M-Lenses* a mail-in rebate. The mail-in rebate amounts vary from $200 to $500. This promotion started on May 1, 2009 and ends on August 14, 2009.

The mail-in rebate for a brand new Leica M-Lens* is:

$5,000 and more and get $500 back (mail-in rebate)
$4,000 to $4,999 and get $400 back (mail-in rebate)
$3,000 to $3,999 and get $300 back (mail-in rebate)
$1,000 to $2,999 and get $200 back (mail-in rebate)

The mail-in rebates is based on the MSP of the M-Lens purchased. The purchase price of the M-Lens must be the MSP in the latest 2009 price list. A customer will not be entitled to a rebate if the lens wasnâ€™t new and/or imported by Leica Camera Inc.

This promotion is only valid for brand new lenses imported by Leica Camera Inc. and sold through an authorized Leica dealer in North America. The mail-in rebate offer is based on the MSP in the latest 2009 price list.

To qualify for the mail-in rebate, a customer must submit a mail-in rebate form, warranty card and a copy of the sales receipt. All mail-in rebates must be received by August 31, 2009. Processing of registration and mail-in rebate will take a minimum of 8 weeks from time of receipt.

For more information on the M-Lens* mail-in rebate promotion, contact your nearest authorized Leica dealer.
