The original text is in German – the Leica R series is currently sold out and this will allow the manufacturing facilities to concentrate on the new-coming Leica S2 model.

New M8 and M8.2 firmware coming out tomorrow

The previously reported M8 firmware update should be released on March 3rd. One of the updates will include a discrete shutter mode for the M8 (I think the M8.2 already had this option lock up only when the shutter is released).
