“In addition, the event also served as the grand opening of the “Leica LOVE Project” photo exhibition to raise funds for ORBIS. The “Leica LOVE Project” exhibits the works of Wing Shya, Creative Director of the exhibition, and 11 contributors including famous personalities and artists from different backgrounds. They all used Leica cameras to capture images with their own interpretation of the theme of “LOVE”. These 11 contributors are: Danny Chau, photographer; Dennis Chan, Qeelin’s designer and Chairman; Maggie Q, actress; Sean K, stylist; Suitman a.k.a. Young Kim, artist and designer; TK, founder of “Milk” magazine; Vernie Yeung, TVC Director; Zhou Yi, artist; as well as showbiz celebrities Michele Reis, Ronald Cheng and Shawn Yu.

The “Leica LOVE Project” exhibition is a meaningful event. The 12 contributors will donate their photos on display at the ifc mall for a charity auction, with the proceeds going to ORBIS to help visually impaired people worldwide and to spread the message of love. The minimum bid price for the photos are HK$10,000 each and those interested in placing their bids can download the bidding form, or pick up a bidding form from Leica store, Leica boutique, EXI.T and Pure Studio.

In addition, Schmidt Marketing has released four “LOVE Albums” from the exhibition photos with a retail price of HK$2,600 each. The exquisite “LOVE Albums” were made by hand in Germany using top quality leather and are highly collectible. Net proceeds of the albums will be donated to ORBIS.
