The Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG (45) called Oliver Kaltner on September 01, 2014 in the Board of Directors. He is responsible for Marketing, Sales and Retail, as well as the further development of trade and distribution partnerships.

Oliver Kaltner has a wealth of experience from the consumer electronics and IT industry, category management and brand management. Most recently he was General Manager at Microsoft Germany GmbH and there for the Consumer Channels Group, responsible, he has successfully expanded in terms of sales and profit. As a member of the management he was responsible for the transformation of Microsoft Germany GmbH to a Devices & Services organization and the evolution of the entire change management processes for the Consumer business.

His professional career was previously executive and managerial positions, inter alia in the Sky AG, Sony Germany GmbH, Electronic Arts Inc. and Nike GmbH, in which he was responsible for brand management, business development and sales management.
