Back in 2013 Leica Camera AG purchases Sinar Photography AG. Here is some more information on the Sinar system and Leica S camera integration:

The Sinar p MF-L is designed especially for photographers who wish to avail themselves of the unique characteristics of a Sinar view camera while using their Leica S medium format camera body.
