Additional information on  Leica Camera’s new interactive multi-content campaign ‘Illuminated’


Some additional information on  Leica Camera’s new interactive multi-content campaign ‘Illuminated’, where seven photographers will each travel to a city previously unknown to them with a Leica Q camera.

Each photographer has been tasked to discover the city, its people and culture, and to document what they see from new angles and perspectives. The Leica Q will be passed on from one photographer to the next at the end of each trip for the next photographer’s journey of discovery. From there, each photographer will create a pictorial portfolio and publish it on the website - https://illuminated.leica-camera.com/.

Photographs from New York City, Singapore and Sydney can already be found on the website and those who are interested can immerse themselves in the content that has been captured. Additional cities will be featured throughout the course of the year.

Seven Countries, Seven Photographers, Seven Months – One Camera

In the ‘Illuminated’ campaign, photographers explore cities of the world with the Leica Q.

June 6, 2018. Leica Camera presents an interactive multi-content campaign: ‘Illuminated’ is a journey of discovery, where seven photographers will each travel to a city previously unknown to them with a Leica Q. Each journey – whether to Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Berlin, Milan or New York – has its own unique theme, where each photographer will create a pictorial portfolio and publish it on the website - https://illuminated.leica-camera.com/. Their task is to discover the city, its people and culture, and to document what they see from new angles and perspectives. The Leica Q will be passed on from one photographer to the next at the end of each trip for the next photographer’s journey of discovery. Photographs of New York City by Hosanna Swee have already been posted and can be viewed online today.

The ‘Illuminated’ campaign was created by VIRTUE, the creative agency of VICE, which is also responsible for the creation and production of the content and the website.
