Offered in the exceptionally hard-wearing olive green ‘Safari’ finish, it perfectly matches the Leica M10-P Edition ‘Safari’ camera while featuring a new built-in telescoping hood design. Performance and technical specifications of the lens are otherwise identical to those of its serial production counterpart. Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide this is the very first one which carries serial number: 4781001.

The Leica Summicron M 28mm f/2 ASPH Safari limited edition lens is still out of stock in the US (Adorama | B&H).

The second Safari lens, the Leica APO Summicron M 90mm f/2 ASPH Safari edition limited to 250 pieces worldwide, is already in stock in the US.

The third Safari lens, the Leica Summicron-M 50 f/2, already shipped back in March 2019 and is now sold out (Adorama | B&H).

Reminder: all M-mount caps and M6 pins are still on sale in the online store for $20 with free international shipping, including the dark safari green anodized metal rear M-mount lens cap:

Please note that the dark safari green color of the cap is darker compared to the “original” Leica safari color. This is how the Leica M10 Safari camera looks with the silver and grey metal M-mount body caps (also on sale in the online store for $20 with free international shipping):
