The price of the new Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH limited edition lens is already sky-rocketing – there are several reports on social media indicating that the lens is selling for almost twice the original price:

Dear friends,

We have many requests on recently introduced Leica Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH (silver chrome finish) lens. How can you buy it? Silver chrome finish lens were produced in limited 100 pcs and were distributed by Leica’s own stores only. The price with VAT in EU is initially 14 900 EUR. Now we receive orders to buy it for 25,000 – 30,000 EUR. (Lcameras on Facebook)

The silver version was sold pretty much instantaneous (if anyone has one in stock, please contact me):

The eBay prices of the original version are also trending up.
