Rumors: the partnership with Huawei has ended and Leica is currently looking for a new smartphone partner

There are multiple reports/rumors online that the partnership between Huawei and Leica has ended and Leica is currently looking for a new smartphone partner (Xiaomi/Honor/Sharp?):

In a separate tweet, the leaker also mentioned that the partnership between both companies has fallen from software and hardware input from Leica to just branding. We can deduce this to mean that there is practically no Leica technology in the upcoming Huawei P50 series phones and all we will be getting is the “Co-Engineered With Leica” tag line we are familiar with. This line will now merely denote that the phone has impressive cameras. (Gizmochina)

The collaboration between Leica and Huawei is apparently coming to an end P50 series will be last Leica Huawei phone and Leica is looking for a new manufacturer for its brand.
