Leica is rumored to announce a new silver version of the Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux-M lens

In addition to the M camera with EVF, this year Leica is rumored to also announce a new silver version of the Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH black-chrome edition lens. I am not sure whether the new lens will be a limited edition or not, or whether it will be silver anodized or silver chrome.

Update: the silver remake will be of the pre-ASPH classic model (not ASPH).

The previous Leica 50mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH black-chrome edition lens is now sold out, but you can still get a used one at Adorama or B&H Photo for a decent price:
