Just like Canon, Fujifilm, and Blackmagic, Leica is also rumored to increase prices in the US (and Canada since they are operated by Leica North America) as a result of the new tariffs introduced by President Trump. The new prices are rumored to kick in on May 1st. Most of Leica’s products will receive a price increase of up to 7%. The Leica D-LUX 8 camera is made in China, so expect a higher price increase.
