[9 June, 2025 (Monday) Shanghai, China] Shanghai Lidong Auction is delighted to announce its 2025 Spring Camera & Photo Auction scheduled on 14 June, 2025, at the esteemed Hengfu Art Center in Shanghai, China. The auction will be conducted in two sessions: the Photo Auction commences at 14:00 (Beijing Time), followed by the Camera Auction at 17:00. A preview exhibition featuring more than 250 rare and historically significant lots will be open to the public from 12 to 14 June at the same venue, offering attendees a chance to explore the carefully curated selection before the live auction.

Lidong Photo Auction showcases “Chinese Photographic Classics”, highlighting pivotal works that capture China’s societal transformations and cultural essence through the perspectives of generations of artists. You can also find International masterpieces from Japan’s “Golden Generation“, 14 rare silver gelatin prints from Philippe Salaün’s estate, and iconic pieces from renowned global photography pioneers. These curated collections bridges Chinese heritage with a global artistic vision, providing collectors with a distinctive chance to acquire significant pieces in photographic history. D Luxus (estimated at RMB 2.4-3 million), the Nikon One with Nikkor-H.C 2/5cm lens (RMB 700,000-800,000), a pair of matching Leica M3 models (RMB 400,000-500,000), and a distinctive Leica Dual-Range Summicron prototype lens (RMB 700,000-800,000).
