New: MS Optics LUMITAR 3.5/50 lens for Leica M-mount


MS Optics announced a new LUMITAR 3.5/50 lens. Here are the details:

  • Product name: LUMITAR 3.5/50
  • This is an ELMAX lens, initially designed by Max Berek of Leitz in 1925
  • Two models are available: non-coated (limited to 70 pieces) and fully multi-coated. The non-coated model creates images that are closer to the time of the original design, and the fully multi-coated model is more up-to-date with the latest lens design technology.
  • Retractable type
  • Available in Leica M and L39 mount
  • Lens design: 5 elements in 3 groups
  • Weight: 55g (including hood)
  • Number of apertures: 12 (circular aperture)
  • Minimum focusing distance: 0.6m
  • Filter size: M30.5 (reverse mounting)
