A month ago I purchased a silver Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 Distagon T* ZM lens for Leica M mount. The lens is big and heavy, with excellent image quality, but it does not come with a lens hood. Zeiss does offer a black-only lens hood for an additional $154. I have seen on social media that Thorsten Overgaard is selling his specially designed ventilated lens hoods. After a brief email exchange, I received a prototype of their new design that will be available for sale soon. The lens hood first perfectly my Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 Distagon T* ZM lens.
