The Leica APO-Summicron-M 90mm f/2 ASPH and Thambar-M 90mm f/2.2 lenses could be discontinued

The Leica APO-Summicron-M 90mm f/2 ASPH lens is no longer listed on the Leica USA website. A website search also cannot locate the lens. The lens is out of stock at B&H and on backorder at Adorama.

The Leica Thambar-M 90mm f/2.2 lens is still listed on Leica’s website, but it is “No Longer Available” at Adorama and B&H.

The Leica Summilux-M 90mm f/1.5 ASPH is currently in stock while the Leica Macro-Elmar-M 90mm f/4 is on backorder.

I was told that the old Leica Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH lens was also removed from Leica’s website prior to the announcement of the new version.

Leica is rumored to refresh more M lenses in the near future.
