The previously rumored Techart TZM-02 Leica M lens to Nikon Z camera autofocus adapter (version II) is now officially announced. The 2nd generation is the first adapter of its kind that can support video AF. AF-S/AF-C shooting in stills mode was also improved. The price is $399.

New Motor Design and Position
No longer a big bulk motor being placed at the bottom of the adapter like other product of similar kinds, Techart Leica M – Nikon Z Autofocus Adapter Gen II (TZM- 02) has pushed forwarded the mechanical design to be 4 light and small servo motors positioned radially around the adapter. The new unicase machining technology also helped significantly reduced the number of parts used and allowed for further compression of the adapter’s size. The new design also allows heavier lenses to be used without wobbling.

The world’s first bulge-less design (when compared to all other motor driven adapters in the market) creates no obstructions to tripod accessories, stabilisers, or bigger lenses.
