New on Kickstarter: Panomicron Bismuth 1.5x anamorphic lens for Leica M-mount

There is a new Kickstarter project for a Panomicron Bismuth 1.5x anamorphic lens for Leica M-mount:

The Panomicron Bismuth is a Kickstarter project for a 50mm f/2.8 1.5x anamorphic lens, notably the first of its kind to be rangefinder-coupled for Leica M-mount cameras. Created by designer Oscar Oweson as an experimental, artisanal product, the campaign is seeking $100,536 to fund its production. This lens is designed to bring the characteristic widescreen, 1.5x squeeze, and oval bokeh of cinematic anamorphic optics to M-mount photography. If the all-or-nothing campaign is successful, backers who pledged approximately 1600 CHF (~$2,000 USD) for a lens can expect delivery around June or July 2026.
