Here are the details on the new Q3 half case:
Oberwerth has finished the development of a half-case specially designed for the Leica Q3 camera. The new Q3 half cases are handmade of the finest leather as all Oberwerth products. Most important is the fact that the half cases give convenient access through two hatches in the bottom plate to the battery and SD memory card of the camera. This allows the user to change the battery and SD card without having to remove the half case. This was especially challenging since the SD card flap on the bottom left very little room.
The side opening of the camera with different connectors is also easily accessible. Noteworthy that all other common controls are exposed and beautifully framed by the half case.
Like all Oberwerth products, the Leica Q3 half cases are reinforced with aluminum on the inside. This reinforcement guarantees perfect protection for the valuable camera and makes the half case individually adjustable. By lightly pressing and carefully bending, the half case can be adjusted to the camera to fit like a second skin.
