    Haute Couture, definitely for the movie stars or rock stars in society!

    I can just imagine my wife with one and then going “Oops, I forgot to remove the lens cap!” :p

    Very pretty but definitely not for the ‘average joe’ Leica users! :)

    Hey LR Admin, slightly out of context…. but have you had any news as to availability of the M9 (regular version) in the US at this very moment, or are they still delayed in production together with the S2?

    Given that the camera fetches over $10K on eBay, I am guessing not anytime soon . . . when I last checked M9 avaialability in October, stores were telling me January to Feb; not sure whether the pipelines have opened up since then (doubt it). Lets not forget the Germans take their Xmas vacatons very seriously!

    Yes, I saw that auction from Japan! I’m really surprised… well I guess not so much after I just typed it out :p
    I wonder how availability is in Germany itself, anyone able to help out? Anyone own a Leica store who can reply? :)

    In Germany the wait time is sometime before the end of the year, maybe. If you are willing to buy the camera with a lens as a bundle, some stores have them available right now (very limited quantity, still).
