Well, it’s quite big for an M lens, but this, the 50 1.1, 35 1.2 would make excellent low light M kit, that’s also reasonably priced in Leica terms, still much smaller than any DSLR set… If only Cosina could make Voigtlander Bessa R2D
Nikon 12 Mpix FF sensor and I would be set for life…
The ‘scalloped’ focus ring has always been my favorite style and is like the 60′s vintage M lenses. I haven’t used the Voigtlander lenses yet, but they are tempting, based on what I’ve heard of them…..even though I’m more inclined towards a 90mm.
Someday, maybe when FF sensors drop in price they’ll have the R2D.
Looks like a nice design, and well built. Cosina Voigtlander is really offering up some terrific options for Leica shooters (and Bessa shooters) at a lower price point than Leica can offer. Way to go. Lovely, and hopefully it produces nice images.
i wan’t to have this thing for Nikon
