Any body have news about release day of new Leica? There are some reviews, there some support from Adobe, and I do not see now release day on B&H, maybe that was a mistake ago 30 th of April?

Not that it means anything, but this could be a clue… straight from Adobe’s FAQ on the release candidate:

“When will the Camera Raw 7.4 release candidate expire?”
      a: 4/30/2013

…so, one way or another, when you un-box your new M, Leica will be able to offer the free download of of LR4.. that supports the M. If the camera released today, you would have to go through the extra steps of getting the release candidate. Makes sense, that we can expect the M when LR4.4 and Camera Raw 7.4 go to full release… and that’s now confirmed to be before April 30. :)

Yes, April 30th is probably the release date of the new M, unless they get delayed again: http://leicarumors.com/2013/02/15/leica-m-240-release-date-delayed-till-april-30-2013.aspx/

I think the match with the M expected release date is a coincidence. This update after all includes support for various other cameras apart from the M such as the upcoming Fuji cameras, the X100s and X20. Those are coming out in about a week’s time (UK).
