Additional info and pictures on the new Leica MP Terry OʼNeill limited edition set - the camera is now listed for sale and is in stock at Reddotcameras for £ 10,500 or around $14,500 (VAT excl: £ 8,750):

Leica UK and renowned photographer Terry O'Neill have collaborated to create 35 fantastic special limited edition sets composed of a Leica MP film camera with a Summilux 50mm f1.4 lens and a never-before-seen limited edition print of Audrey Hepburn.

The special edition sets feature:

  • Leica MP camera body in a British racing green paint finish with a brown leather covering, silver chrome instruments and Terry O'Neill's signature engraved on the top plate in white paint.
  • Leica Summilux 50mm f1.4 finished silver chrome with British racing green paint on the aperture ring.
  • A limited edition never before seen print of Audrey Hepburn signed by Terry O'Neill (edition number corresponding to the set)

From iconicimages.net:

O’Neill began his career at the birth of the 1960s. While other photographers concentrated on earthquakes, wars and politics, O’Neill realised that youth culture was a breaking news story on a global scale and began chronicling the emerging faces of film, fashion and music who would go on to define the Swinging Sixties. By 1965 he was being commissioned by the biggest magazines and newspapers in the world.

No other living photographer has embraced the span of fame, capturing the icons of our age from Winston Churchill to Nelson Mandela, from Frank Sinatra and Elvis to Amy Winehouse, from Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot to Nicole Kidman, as well as every James Bond from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig.
