Leica S2 (pre-production model) was on display in Manhattan as part of a special promotion for the Fotocare store opening. Leica Product Specialist Justin Stailey said:
“Final pricing and features will likely be announced in early August, I also haven’t yet seen a hard shutter speed for what the flash sync will be.”
This is a small delay from the last report where the price announcement was going to be at the end of July. Norwegian photography magazine Fotografi (source) also spread some rumors about a potential delay of the Leica s2 project. Leica is still convinced that the S2 will be shipping by the end of the Summer (September 21st).
