The new Leica 1.4/35 ASPH Summilux and APO Macro Summarit-S 2.5/120 lenses now available in the US

The first Leica 35mm f/1.4 ASPH Summilux and APO Macro Summarit-S 120mm  f/2.5 lenses started shipping in the US in limited quantities. I was able to take few quick snapshots (all wide open, no adjustments) with the new 35 lux in the Leica Boutique in West Palm Beach:

  • Shame the 100% crop isn’t where the focus point is. Seems to be left towards the ‘M9’ name

    • Actually it looks like there is a bit of motion blur going on in that 100% crop no doubt due to a somewhat marginal shutter speed being used.

Seriously, which pros work with leica nowadays, it’s too expensive for a result you can have with canon or nikon for much less price…

I really hope you being playfully ironic
