German camera and optical equipment brand to open its first store in Latin America in São Paulo

JLBrands is launching Latin America’s first LEICA STORE, in the city of São Paulo. The LEICA STORE SP will work exclusively with LEICA equipment, recognized for the quality of its lenses and perfect design and considered to be the favorite brand among world-famous photographers such as Frenchman Henri Cartier-Bresson and Brazilian Sebastião Salgado.

The São Paulo store is part of an expansion plan begun with the opening of stores in London, Berlin, Moscow, Paris and Tokyo. In Brazil, the LEICA STORE SP, to be administered by JLBrands, will open in the Cidade Jardim Mall, one of the city’s most exclusive locations, alongside other famous names such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Chanel. “LEICA cannot be left outside a market as important as Brazil”, says Luiz Marinho, exclusive representative of LEICA CAMERA AG in Brazil.

“The brand is aimed at customers requiring quality instruments, such as professional photographers, as well as photography enthusiasts. We believe that the opening of the store will attract new consumers”, adds Kiki Ferraz, a partner in the LEICA STORE SP.

The São Paulo project also includes a space for exhibitions of work by world famous photographers, so that visitors to the store can enjoy a real experience of the world of LEICA.

The LEICA STORE SP will open to the public on December 10th, at 10am, on the ground floor of the Cidade Jardim Mall. The consumer will find in São Paulo professional lenses and cameras, compact cameras, eye-pieces, binoculars and monoculars for golfers, as well as an exclusive service with professionals specialized in the brand.
