  • The idea of the Leica stores was preceeded in 1979 by Photo Visuals in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They were the first store to sell Leica equipment exclusively.

  • I wish we could get a Leica store in Houston, Texas.

Leica spells it’s store locations in $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to be made. Which eliminates many locations in the USA.

      • Has there ever been a bonafied store that is not in business to make money?

        • Nobody Special

Of course. But for now at least, Leica is hitting the big money areas – for example, Minneapolis will likely never seen one and I’d be surprised if Chicago ever does. There are a few ‘dealers’ where you can still buy the gear and maybe even check out product.

They have to take their best shot right now. But it doesn’t change the fact that the whole retail type of market has changed, but it’s still a lot easier to find the C and N high end product than Leica.

I just wish we could get some lenses.
