Voigtlander-Nokton 50mm f1.5 Asph lens for M-mount

During the 2013 CP+ show in Japan, Voigtländer quietly announced a new Nokton 50mm f/1.5 Asph lens for M-mount based on their classic L39 design from the 1950s (see eBay listings, images on flickr). The US price of the lens is $899 for the black version and $1049 for the silver model. Here are the lens specs:

  • Close Focus: 0.7 Meter
  • 5 Groups, 6 elements
  • Filter size: 49mm
  • Angle of view: 46°
  • Length: 47.7mm
  • Diameter: 53.8mm
  • Aperture: f/1.5 to f/16
  • 10 diaphragm blades
  • Colors: black or silver

The new lens is expected to be released this summer, price was not announced:
